The founders of Merlyn’s Air Care (Merlyn’s) – Merlyn and Tony Lewis – are paramedics with over 45 years experience in the specialised care and transportation of trauma patients by ground and air. They have extensive medical backgrounds and have studied paediatric air services in the USA, Germany and Norway.

What we will achieve
The charity will help save lives by reducing transportation time, and will relieve the suffering of children whilst in transport. The helicopters the charity proposes to use will have sufficient space onboard to include a medical team with the patient, and their next of kin.
